Environmental Policy

  • The Country Dentist will uphold and encourage a sustainable environmental policy throughout all appropriate aspects of its services
  • The Country Dentist will endeavour to eliminate risks of adverse impacts of practical operations on humans, animals and the environment
  • The Country Dentist administrative waste, where possible, will be recycled and any technological waste (discarded electrical orelectronic devices) will be disposed of at an approved local government refuse/ recycling facility
  • The Country Dentist will dispose of all clinical waste in accordance with current infection control guidelines
  • The Country Dentist is committed to a culture of continuous improvement and welcomes constructive feedback regarding our services

Workplace Health & Safety Policy

  • The Country Dentist is committed to the safety of our staff, our patients and the general public
  • The Country Dentist will endeavour to ensure our workplaces are as safe as is practically possible
  • The Country Dentist has carried out risk assessments and completed a risk register at each practice and has risk management plans in place
  • The Country Dentist encourages all potential hazards identified by patients to be reported to a member of staff as soon as possible
  • The Country Dentist requires all incidents to be reported in accordance with legislative and/or regulatory requirements
  • The Country Dentist retains the right to terminate appointments immediately if either our staff or our patients are placed at serious risk to their health and safety
  • The Country Dentist staff and patients should not attempt to combat or repair potential hazards without the necessary qualifications to do so, and any attempts otherwise are undertaken at the risk of the individual
